The vegetation from the Heath, and from the Branch Hill area is taking up a lot of road space and making the road edge invisible. This is a popular cycling route and there is, as a result of poor maintenance of the vegetation, less available road space and hence more danger for cyclists. The vegetation on both sides must be cut back. The road surface on the uphill section of the upper part of West Heath Road is very poor. This too adds risk for cyclists.
