There is a ‘no left turn’ sign for bike lane users. Unclear whether this is for cars as well. Please clarify. Traffic lights at this junction for cars do NOT have a no left turn sign as photo attached shows. Police stopped me for turning left but unclear if I have broken law.please clarify

    Hi there, The No Turn Left sign is in a cycle lane, it is attached to the cycle lane traffic light. there are no such signs attached to the 2 traffic lights designated for cars. The No Turn Left sign is for cyclist only. You can indeed turn left at this junction, just bear in mind the possibilty of cyclists going straight across the junction as you are turning left.
