Outside 1 Holly Hill

Reported via mobile in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 11:56, Tuesday 4 August 2026

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9895736.

When Thames Water dug the pavement up over a year ago they did an appalling job of reinstating the kerb which has collapsed as shown in the enclosed picture. I have reported this several times (see below) but it still hasn’t been repaired properly despite being flagged as completed. Please can you ask Thames Water to come Back and fix this properly and then check that it has been repaired sufficiently before marking it as completed. Thank-you.

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9746978.

I first reported this over a year ago and again six months ago but nothing has been done (ref 8627452). When are Thames Water coming back to fix the pavement and what are you as the council doing about enforcing this?

The kerb was badly installed byThames Water when they dug up the pavement creating a significant collapse of the kerb. This has still not been addressed over a year later despite the council being made aware of this several times on the fixmystreet page. It has recently been sprinkled with gravel which has made it even worse than before.

Why aren’t the council insisting Thames Water come back and fix this properly?

What is the purpose of fixmystreet if nothing ever gets done?

“As per your response to FixMyStreet ref: 7862601, the deadline of six months you stated has now passed and Thames Water have not been back to carry out permanent reinstatement. Please conform that you will address this issue asap?”
