Grays Inn Road

Reported via desktop in the Referrals to Engineering (Highways Team) category anonymously at 11:16, Thursday 30 July 2026

Sent to Camden Borough Council 33 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 9871531.

The traffic flow on Mount Pleasant has recently been changed so that vehicles must now turn left from Grays Inn Road onto Mount Pleasant. Despite this change, drivers — particularly vans — are still attempting to turn from Mount Pleasant onto Grays Inn Road, following the old layout.

This incorrect manoeuvre is causing obstruction and congestion on Grays Inn Road, as vehicles are entering the junction from a direction that is no longer permitted.

Clear and prominent road‑signage is urgently needed to indicate the new one‑way direction and prevent drivers from using the outdated route. Please install the correct signs so motorists are aware that the road layout has changed
