Outside main reception of 265 Tottenham Court Road

**Subject:** Urgent Request for Attendance – Paint Spill Outside 265 Tottenham Court Road Entrance

Good Afternoon,

I am writing to request urgent assistance regarding a paint spill affecting the public pavement immediately outside the main entrance at **265 Tottenham Court Road**.

On **Thursday 2nd April 2026**, a 5-litre tub of water-based paint was left overnight to the right of the building entrance. Our onsite cleaning operative initially removed the container and applied sand to contain the spill, with the intention of completing the clean-up later the same day.

However, at approximately **14:00 that afternoon**, a jet-washing team believed to be working on local street cleansing (Eitheir Camden Council Employees or Fitzrovia Partnership) attended the area and washed away the sand before the paint had been properly treated. This unfortunately spread the paint residue further across the pavement surface, significantly worsening the condition of the entrance area, which then tracked along a large part of the pavement and into the buiding aswell!.

The affected section of pavement remains in an unsatisfactory state and we are now receiving **numerous complaints from Tesco/Five Guys reatilers / tenants and occupiers** regarding the appearance of the building frontage.

As this area forms part of the **public highway**, we would be grateful if you could please arrange for **Eithier Camden Council Cleaning Team or The Fitzrovia Partnership, or the appropriate street cleansing contractor responsible for this location**, to attend site as a matter of urgency and carry out the necessary remediation works.

Please let me know if any further information is required from our side to assist with arranging attendance.
