Footbridge

Reported via mobile in the Road Defect category anonymously at 09:41, Friday 3 April 2026

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 9234229.

I cycle over Regents Park Road bridge to Chalk Farm every day.

I regularly have problems with pedestrians randomly walking into the cycle lane - I am convinced this will result in an accident if not happening already particularly now it is busier in the summer season.

What would make the bridge safer is some cycling path plastic bollards to remind people walking (often with headphones on) that it is a bike lane and to be wary when crossing.

There is of course no cars on the bridge and so plenty of room for both pedestrians and cyclists!

Updates

  • This would not fall under the engineering team for you issue the camden hotline would be the best place to get the information you need on the right department

As we only deal with the maintenance side of street issues

State changed to: not the council's responsibility
