In the westbound carriageway of crowndale Road, just past the zebra crossing, is this piece of kerb which is a standalone mini-extension to the new segregated bike lane. It starts after the crossing without warning (no lane markings), it’s the same colour as the road surface and has no signage on it. The rubber and scratches on it show some cars have hit it already, but when a bike goes into it someone will be badly hurt. Before that happens, it would be worth the council checking it’s legal for it to be so hard to see… and even if it is legal, to paint it white at least
