I am writing to report a problem with the cycling lane in Goods way, coming from York Wy.

In particular the cycling lane on the left hand side (coming from York Wy is obstructed by the barriers and various other items the Google construction site is placing there. The lane is now, in places, about half its original width as the barrier to the construction side is pushed more and more into it.

I attach a photo with the problem areas annotated, however the problem is now worse than it appears on the Google maps photo (which is a few months old), especially around 9-9:30am when there is lots of activity.

This is creating a dangerous situation for cyclists using the lane, especially when tlf buses pass or trucks that work with the Google construction site intentionally drive over the lane to position themselves better as they are preparing to turn sharp left into the construction site. I do expect a serious accident involving a cyclist and a heavy truck if this is not addressed.
