Outside 1 Leighton Road

Directly outside the gate to 1 Leighton Road the paving around the remains of an old lamppost is very raised at the base and poses an extreme hazard especially at night.

It's been like this for a few months, although I cannot remember when the top half of the lamppost was removed. I think there may have been successive works on that part of the pavement which may have led to it worsening.

I recently tripped and fell on the way back into my house having not realised how close I was to the paving and experienced significant bruising. It's very hard to avoid as the pavement is relatively narrow.
