The raised cobbled area at the crossing has an issue, with one in particular now raised significantly. It’s a trip hazard for anyone crossing and a significant risk for cars and cyclists. It may not look that bad in the picture, but a smaller piece has already broken off and it needs intervention to be made safe.

Updates

  • Please fix this properly rather than applying the usual quick fix of removing the stones and roughly filling the space with tarmac, which is then left to deteriorate and fail, causing further issues.

    The crossing at the end of the road near Regent’s Park Road was “fixed” in this way and is now even worse, with countless loose and uneven cobbles, and requires major remedial works.
