Craterous pothole
Reported via mobile in the Potholes category anonymously at 11:24, Thursday 19 February 2026
Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8953949.
Massive pothole here for months by the bump.
You have left this pot hole un-fixed for months and months and it's just become a massive crater now. The sound the car made when mistakenly fallen into it, as if the suspension is coming thru the dashboard.
Do you know how much it hurts disabled people in a car?

I drove over the sleeping [policeman and my left front wheel hit the craterous pothole. I drive up this road to Waitrose more or less every 5 days or so. I checked my trips to Waitrose on the following dates: 21 January, 25 January, 30 January, 4 February, 10 February and 14 February. My car hit the pothole twice during this time. Both times there was a massive bang. Following these bangs I had difficulty steering the car which is now in the garage asnd has been there for some days. The cost of repair is likely to be very high because my left front wheel is damaged, as is the tyre, the suspension is broken and a further problem was mentioned by the garage. The pothole was in the road for several weeks, but is now fixed. I understand that the London Borough of Camden is liable for the cost of this repair and would ask you to let me know how I should proceed with my claim fofr reimbursement of the cost of repairs. Thank you Anneliese Simeloff
