Outside 227 Camden High Street

The Council invested £££ in a drainage system for the “Square”on the pedestrianised part of Camden High Street - with ducting along the sides of the road under a raised road surface. This has drain inlets at each end. The drain inlet or the ducting itself is blocked. There is permanent and deep standing water across half of the roadway. The drainage system is not fit for purpose This is a major issue for pedestrians who generally don’t wear wellingtons or waders to visit Camden. If (when) we have a cold snap this will freeze and become a safety risk.
