The junction between Albert Street and Mornington Place

Reported via desktop in the Non-Illuminated bollards category anonymously at 15:45, Wednesday 14 January 2026

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8688243.

The middle bollard, which was held in place by standard padlock has been removed probably by somebody with bold cutters as there was a section of the broken lock there when it first happened about six weeks ago. I did report the problem in early December but nothing has happened since. Traffic is now building up there as people get wise to the fact that they can use this as a cut through with impunity. In my view it's crazy that so much money has been spent so much money making the area more pedestrian friendly and this is allowed to happen. Closing the street off has really helped with the problem of people dealing drugs from cars, now it has opened up again there is the concern that this situation may revert. Please could you either replace the bollard, install enforcement cameras, or explain why either things don't seem to be happening?
