The manhole is sunken about 50mm below pavement level as a temp measure we have filled with sand a cement screed but belive it needs raising

    I am writing to formally complain regarding the broken pavement outside our front door in our gated area, which has been in a dangerous condition for over a year. Despite multiple reports, no repairs have been undertaken, and the pavement continues to pose a serious trip hazard, particularly during the hours of darkness.

    I therefore request that Camden Council: 1. Immediately repair the pavement to remove the trip hazard. 2. If immediate repair is not feasible, implement temporary safety measures (e.g., floodlighting, warning signage) to protect residents and visitors until permanent repairs can be completed. 3. Provide a written confirmation of the planned timeline for repair.

  • Thank you for your email. Unfortunately as the cover has been sand/cemented over we have no way of knowing which utility company the cover belongs to. This has been passed to our Highways Team.
