We now have 2 of the 3 manholes at this location making noise. The loudest one is the single manhole which is beside the black car in my photo. The double manhole is also making noise but gets driven over less often.

Updates

  • Thank you for your email. Our Highways Contractors have been contacted to make this safe. BT/Openreach have been identified as the owner of the noisy defective apparatus and are responsible for its maintenance. It has been reported to BT Openreach and they have been asked to expediate all necessary remedial works.
