Regent’s Park Rd near Rothwell/St George’s

What is the plan for the areas where the road has been narrowed? The paving has been widened, which is a positive improvement, but the remaining sections have been left unfinished and are now an eyesore.
These areas need to be properly filled and, ideally, completed with new trees or other planting. Is there a plan to finish this work, or will these sections be left in their current condition indefinitely.

The area which has been created for planting is now filling up with water from all the rainfall. The drainage has been placed too high and the water has nowhere to run off. At the point the water level reaches the drainage holes it will over flow onto the pavement and into my basement. At the current rate tomorrow.

We have written to LB Camden councillors on the issue of the so-called improvements to the junction of Regents Park Road/Rothwell Street/Primrose Hill Road - and, with one exception (thank you, Steve Adams) did not receive the courtesy of a reply. The issues noted by others above regarding the accumulation of rainwater/poor drainage/generally unresolved and disappointingly incomplete state of the hard and soft landscaping works between St Georges Terrace gardens and nos. 118-120 Regents Park Road undertaken just before Christmas remain ongoing. Elsewhere in the borough - particularly in relation to the Cross Camden Cycleway - we note that landscaping of small areas remains incomplete, presumably in the mistaken hope that nature, through self-seeding, will compensate for what the local authority seems reluctant to provide in respect of landscaped areas. Please provide all residents and visitors to Primrose Hill with reassurance that there is a robust and clear strategy for completing the work at this visually important and well love location.
