Between 2a Oakhill Avenue and 39 Redington Road

Reported via desktop in the Low/overhanging branches category anonymously at 11:23, Wed 3 December 2025

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8496073.

The pavement on Oakhill Avenue is being obstructed by a severely overgrown tree whose branches and foliage hang completely across the width of the public footway. The growth extends from private property over the boundary wall and forces pedestrians to step into the road to pass, which creates a significant safety risk—particularly for children, older residents, wheelchair users, and anyone walking with prams or dogs.

The obstruction appears to be long-standing, with dense foliage and surrounding overgrown hedging preventing safe passage. The tree and vegetation require urgent attention, either by being substantially trimmed back or, if structurally unsuitable, removed altogether to restore clear access to the pavement. This is a pedestrian safety hazard and should be inspected as soon as possible.
