Tree Works signs have appeared in the street scheduled for 3 December (Parking Suspension Ref 190908886).

The trees were last pollarded in December 2023. Several of the white beams have barely grown new branches (see photos attached), and many of the trees are in no way ready to be pollarded again.

The residents of Kelly Street do not want the trees pollarded, and ask you to intervene as soon as possible to cancel these works. Apart from being unnecessary, pollarding destroys the picturesque nature of the street, and destroys the beauty that so many residents and visitors admire. Its also an expensive process which nobody here wants and it’s a waste of Council time and money,
