The benches in the middle of the square require attention. Several of the wooden slats are completely broken, creating a potential safety hazard. About a month ago, tape was placed around some of the benches, though it’s unclear whether this was done by the council and it was quickly removed by children playing in the area.

The broken slats need to be removed, the benches inspected to ensure they are safe to use, and the damage repaired ASAP.
