Cycle route C6 on corner of Pakenham Street and Calthorpe Street, outside former Pakenham Arms

Reported via desktop in the Non-Illuminated bollards category anonymously at 16:59, Friday 24 October 2025

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8335830.

Car drivers frequently use the cycle path C6 between Phoenix Place and Wren Street as a cut-through, despite signs saying no entry and the fact that this is clearly marked as a cycle path only. Drivers are able to do this because the bollards are placed too widely to prevent cars driving through here. This behaviour presents a danger to pedestrians and cyclists, especially vulnerable road users. This practice is very commonplace (multiple times per hour on any given day). Please can an additional bollard be placed, or the position of the existing bollards moved, to prevent cars from doing this? Alternatively a camera could be installed to prevent motorists flouting the road signs at this location.
