Dear Camden Council Highways Team,

I am reporting an active water leak beneath the public pavement directly outside 25 Chalk Farm Road, London NW1 8AG. The leak is entering my commercial basement premises (Cloud Health and Beauty Ltd) through the pavement-side wall and has already caused substantial damage. Thames Water have acknowledged the issue and have scheduled an engineer visit this evening under Case No. 01353979 (linked to their admitted Claim Ref 6236398).

Given that the leak originates under the pavement, I am requesting that Camden Council: 1. Log this as a defective highway / suspected underground mains leak under your duties pursuant to Sections 81–82 Highways Act 1980; 2. Liaise directly with Thames Water to ensure the external defect is fully repaired and the pavement made safe; and 3. Confirm inspection or referral details and provide me with a Camden reference number for my records.

I am attaching recent photographs and video evidence of the active ingress within my premises, which corresponds to the pavement line.
