Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8134606.

The manhole cover is on bloomsbury way and ever time a bus goes over the square manhole it makes a terrible noise and in the night it does not allow resident to sleep

  • The caller has asked for this to be looked into, looks like it has been 11 days since the report and they say its extremely disruptive to everyone in the area due to the loud noise. Please can you look into this and update the resident through their email.

  • Contact Camden update: Still waiting for a response, the resident who first reported has called multiple times to chase up as it is disrupting their sleep etc

  • The resident has called again, advising the noise of cars driving over the cover is keeping her and other residents awake, this is happening all night please could this be looked at asap please.

  • Thank you for your email. Virgin Media have been identified as the owner of the noisy / defective apparatus and are responsible for its maintenance. It has been reported to Virgin Media, their reference number. VM/CIP/491075 and they have been asked to expediate all necessary remedial works.
