The grass area outside St Pauls church facing south villas

Reported via desktop in the Street Lights category anonymously at 09:01, Wed 3 September 2025

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 8111515.

I am writing to express my concerns regarding the lack of adequate lighting in the area around my home, especially considering the seating that has recently been installed by the council, which faces my property. (The grass area outside St Pauls Church Camden Terrace/South Villas)

The insufficient lighting in this area not only makes it difficult for residents to feel safe but also creates a potentially dangerous environment. I have noticed that people are able to sit in this area at all hours, which raises concerns for me as a foster carer. It is unsettling to have individuals watching my home at night, and I believe this situation needs to be addressed for the safety and comfort of the community. We didnt ask for Benches to be put on this site in the first place. It has made the area a magnet for unsociable behaviour and as it is SO dark in that area, the unsocial behaviour is under cover.

I kindly urge the council to consider enhancing the lighting in this area to improve safety for all residents. Your attention to this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you for listening, and I look forward to your response.

Best regards, Sarah Livingstone Chair of CAFC Co-Founder of Replenish Culture
