Castle Road j/o Hadley Street o/s the Tapping The Admiral pub.

There have been bonkers roadworks on Castle Road at the end of a cul de sac. Ridiculous waste of money as it is a dead end. However, it is what it is and the fire gates have been replaced by bollards and two have not been put in yet (either side). On Friday 08 August late afternoon, a pedestrian fell into a gaping hold where a bollard should be, causing her to smash her face on the concrete. The publican and some guests assisted in helping the woman get cleaned up from all the blood, damage, etc while waiting for an ambulance. The contractor should be sued for leaving this pavement in a state. What are you going to do about this.
