This stretch of road near number 41 Clarence Way has been in poor condition for a number of years, and it's been at an unacceptable level for a while.

Even as far back as 2021, Google Maps Street View showed clear signs of damage and disrepair. Since then, the road surface has significantly worsened. There are numerous potholes, uneven sections, and loose debris making it hazardous to both drivers and especially cyclists. As someone who regularly travels through this area, this has become a persistent and worsening issue.

The loose debris is a particular danger for those on two wheels, and the entire stretch feels neglected, with no substantial maintenance being carried out for several years.

Please inspect the area and prioritise proper resurfacing or repair work as soon as possible. Patchwork is clearly not sufficient, and without intervention, the damage will only become more dangerous and expensive to fix.
