I am writing to formally report a missing cyclist lane sign.

On the evening of 16 June, I was riding my motorbike along Crowndale Road where there had recently been road renovation works. I believe a cyclist lane sign had previously been broken and was not replaced after the renovation.

The road layout in that section is confusing without visible signage — especially at night. The absence of the cyclist warning sign and any other clear markings created a hazardous condition.

I am requesting the following from the council:

Immediate inspection of the site and reinstatement of missing cyclist lane signage.

Confirmation of when the roadworks were completed and whether signage was reviewed afterward.

Maintenance and inspection records for that location, including any previous reports of the broken sign.

Contact details of the highways contractor or department responsible for signage following the renovation.

Please confirm receipt of this report and provide a written response regarding the status of the signage and any ongoing safety assessment.
