“Not Canden Council’s responsibility’ is the response received after placing the report below. Please can you expand on this and explain who is responsible for overseeing the poor works carried out by utility companies on the pavements in the borough of Camden if it is not Camden Council?

Following works to 47 Heath Street to possibly add water connection; The kerb stone has been put back crooked and the pavement has been filled with bitumen instead of resin gravel, as every other utility company has done that have dug up this piece of pavement recently.

  • Thank you for your email. Apoligies for the previous notification. The works were carried out by Thames Water and have been registered to us with Interim reinstatement. Thames now have six months from the date of registration to carry out the permanent reinstatement, leaving the site with the material as it was before works.
