Pavement outside 156 West End Lane

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 14:31, Tuesday 13 May 2025

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7563739.

Highly uneven and irregular paving, broken cracked paving slabs, irregular kerbs from old closed road formation. Exposed iron work from utility covers "fixed" with temporary tarmac filling that has washed away.

Newly paved area towards building dangerously steep and "guarding" this with a couple of planters is not a proper solution. This also restricts pavement width at a crossing point which is unacceptable as people need to stand to wait to cross.

This building has been completed for some time now. The public pavement should be made up and levelled correctly.

The developers section of the pavement with a steep slope should be correctly addressed and not have 2 obstructive planters as a defence against trips and falls which restricting overall width.

Updates

  • There are no changes, and no reply from Camden council on this matter. So the problem continues.
