Man-hole cover damage and collapse

Reported via desktop in the Manhole in the road category anonymously at 05:19, Fri 2 May 2025

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7512496.

Camden need to ensure that roadworks contractors who repair broken man-holes and covers, should 'mesh' up the surround of the man hole. They should also ensure that they are using UNI-BOND, POLYESTER RESIN, with EPOXY (to water proof the resin) to surround the man-hole to support the man-hole cover and stop it from collapsing into the man-hole under pressure of vehicles driving over it. This UNI-Bond, Polyester Epoxy Resin has been proven to be the best and most long-lasting road surface repair material in recent years. All road-works in Camden should be using this.
