Manhole at junction of Capper Street and Shropshire Place

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7473177.

For some weeks, there is a large sunken hole next to this manhole cover - (a). dangerous for cyclists; and (b). dangerous for pedestrians, who could get their foot caught/stuck in this sunken hole (if crossing the road), especially difficult to see at night time.

Updates

  • Virgin Media have been identified as the owner of the defective apparatus and are responsible for its maintenance. It has been reported to Virgin Media and they have been asked to expediate all necessary remedial works.
