Near corner with Chalcot Road, opposite Princess of Wales.

Reported via desktop in the Replacement tree planting category anonymously at 09:01, Friday 14 March 2025

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7276567.

A welcome sapling was planted on Fitzroy Road last week, a few yards from this house, near the corner of Chalcot Road. It is not yet marked on the map.The hole was dug in the road several weeks ago, coping stones placed round it and it was partially filled with soil. Since then the soil became mud, was trampled down, presumably by dogs, foxes etc., and wasn’t topped up or evened out before the tree was planted so the result is an unattractive mess. It looks unfinished – is anything more to be done to it? There is no irrigation bag. I took some photos but for some reason your online form wouldn't accept them. I have already emailed the Tree Section with the photos. I look forward to your response, many thanks.
