Tree outside 33 Kelly Street NW1 8PG
Reported via desktop in the Tree touching building category anonymously at 11:52, Thursday 13 March 2025
Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7272340.
This tree is vastly overgrown and virtually touching my property. When in leaf it blocks out vast amounts of light. I reported it to Camden who replied it had been "fixed" and that it had been pruned. This is manifestly wrong as anybody who inspects the tree can see. Camden has made a mistake here and somebody needs to review it. Maybe they are talking about the wrong tree. Ref 7241454

Dear Mr Williams,
Thank you for your enquiry.
I have reviewed the matter and inspected the tree this morning 14/03/25. There is a sufficient distance between the tree branches and your property.
The Prunus tree outside 33 Kelly Street is managed on a 3 year inspection/maintenance programme and received light pruning works as part of its programme during the autumn/winter of 2023/24. The next programme inspections/works will be during financial year 2026/27.
I have added a link to the council's tree webpage for your reference on our tree management programme and policy. www.camden.gov.uk/trees
Kind regards
Kelly Suvari Tree officer
