The manhole cover is leaking, and this is causing serious damage in our basement. We believe the ceiling may collapse and the electrics will affected.

  • The manhole cover in question sits on private forecourt in Charlotte Street adjacent premises door. A call was made to Kelly to inform, it is the responsibility of the premises owner to contact the owner of the manhole cover which sits on their property. A Thames Water leak line was provided to Kelly and advised to check that the basement is tanked to protect againt any leaks. Advice was also given to ensure any cracks in tarmac of private forecourt is repaired to further protect from potential leaks. Regards Streetworks Team
