Was this roadwork done by Camden on the 11th & 12th of May2023?

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 7091421.

There were movements on the Tacttile and Tarmac on the Roadworks going on at the time that caused a serious accident to a 77-year-old lady, who I gave First Aid to and handed over to a Paramedic, and was referred to the hospital. The incident report claimed it was Camden Council's fault, so I am contacting you to confirm that your roadworks and contractors were working on the Euston Square crossing that leads into Euston Station on May 11th and 12th, 2023. Please verify whether your team was working on the crossing those dates. Thanks.

  • Thank you for getting in touch. We can confirm that there were no registered works on the public highway of Eversholt St and Euston Sq junction according to our register on the dates specified. However the road joins onto a private road which is owned by NETWORK RAIL and is used for the buses - works may have been carried out here, you will need to contact Network Rail directly to make enquiries.
