On Camden High St outside Fred Perry store

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 13:28, Wednesday 15 January 2025

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6983993.

I tripped and fell over on December 17th on the very shallow pavement on Camden High Street that cars are parked on and fractured my knee in 4 places. The fact that vehicles are parked on a slightly higher level than the road is dangerous and misleading. There should be a clearly visible line on the pavement edge, otherwise one expects the car to be on road level. The surface of this pavement is also dangerous as it is made of rough stone. Why is that necessary? I tried to upload a photo but could not get it to work on your site. I have lost income because of this injury and have had to spend a substantial amount of money on taxi fares as I cannot use public transport with a leg brace and crutches. Changes need to be made before another serious accident occurs.
