On the corner of Well Road and Christchurch Hill

Reported via desktop in the Replacement tree planting category anonymously at 10:26, Thu 5 December 2024

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6822121.

As you know, the tree on the corner of Well Road and Christchurch Hill has been cut down, after recent storm damage. That tree itself was a replacement for a very large horse chestnut which was removed about 10 years ago.

I very much hope that Camden is planning to plant a replacement tree at that point - where there has been a substantial tree for well over a 100 years.

I would be grateful if you could confirm that you propose planting a new tree. If possible, I and other neighbours would welcome the opportunity for some input on the choice of tree (as occurred last time when the horse chestnut was removed).

Thank you very much
