Nettles growing on the walking path

Reported via mobile in the Street cleaning/sweeping category anonymously at 16:25, Mon 18 November 2024

Sent to Camden Borough Council 17 hours, 8 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 6757395.

I have reported the issue of nettles to Camden Council the past two years. I wanted to bring to your attention an ongoing issue with a nettle bush at the start of Ospringe Road, which I have previously reported on multiple occasions. Unfortunately, this matter has not been addressed for over the years, and there was a recent incident where a child was badly stung.

As no action was taken, we took it upon ourselves to trim the nettle bush. While we were glad to resolve the immediate concern, I am disappointed that this situation was not handled by the council, despite several reports. As a resident who pays council tax, I hope that in the future, such matters can be addressed promptly to ensure the safety off the community. Now the nettles have taken over the pathway again.
