Outside Gunzels International Farmers Supermarket, 175 Kentish Town Road, NW1 8PD

Reported via desktop in the Pavement Defect category anonymously at 14:59, Sat 2 November 2024

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6687238.

The outside fruit and vegetable displays/stalls of the supermarket at 175 Kentish Town Road have encroached onto Kentish Town Road itself. As this is immediately opposite the bus stop, pedestrian movement is being considerably hindered, especially with regard to elderly people trying to use one of the four bus services which use the bus stop. It even more inconveniences people trying to sit whilst awaiting a bus, and pavement users with walkers and wheelchairs trying to pass along the street.

Updates

  • This issue was reported in 2017. And again in 2023.

The owners who might be new have encroached again onto the pavement outside their demised area they are allowed to trade from. Please can you send inspectors to check this out and get the owner to pull back to their own space.
