Gray's inn Road junction with Wren street

Reported via mobile in the Temporary Traffic Lights category anonymously at 11:34, Wednesday 18 September 2024

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6485161.

Phasing of the temporary lights is completely out of sync with main traffic lights on Guilford street junction, it forces southbound traffic to stop in the roadworks repeatedly and the Northbound traffic cannot get through causing tailbacks to Clerkenwell Road junction and even further. Thousands of Northbound vehicles and buses get stuck and cannot get through every single day. These temporary lights are completely unnecessary in the first place. All those building works do is place a skip on the road and whole side of the road has been closed. Lanes could have been created with cones to avoid putting temporary lights next to another traffic lights junction.
