Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6419942.

Months and months and months has this been rocking loudly, you have used the excuse that it is up to Virgin when they do works now your using another company name for doing works in October, this can no longer wait, we pay our rates and ETC. This is outside our Hotel and we have a number of complaints everyday.

  • Please this rocking manhole must be fixed properly. You said that in early October it shall be fixed, it was fixed and it was good for 5 days. Its bad again. ITS A BIG PROBLEM, ITS OUTSIDE A HOTEL PLEASE HAVE IT FIXED IMMEDIATELY.

  • This problem is an on going problem, the rocking from the manhole is so loud and annoying. You have been telling me that it will be fixed in October, just to let you know they came to do whatever they had to and the rocking stopped for about 5 days, well it has started again. THIS MUST STOP FOR GOOD, PLEASE COME TO FIX THIS.

  • UCL have been identified as the owner of the defective apparatus and are responsible for its maintenance. It has been reported to UCL and they have been asked to expediate all necessary remedial works.

  • UCL have been asked to make the cover safe ASAP with temporary tarmac, ahead of their works for permanent repair, to stop the noise.
