Albany street, near Santander bikes hire

Reported via mobile in the Manhole in the road category anonymously at 10:46, Fri 7 June 2024

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6076615.

It has been now over three months since these sunken, rocking manhole covers making banging noises were first reported. There are two next to each other and noises they make are affecting our every day life and sleep. We are therefore reporting for the third time since the first two reports have been closed with message: ‘Passed to Camden highway contractor to carried out a further remedial repair until the owner of the apparatus has been identified. State changed to: No further action.’ What does this even mean? Those are not Thames water manholes but when a similar problem was reported to Thames water they come to investigate the same day and fixed the problem/noises within days. Perhaps ask Thames water how to. They know those noises are not acceptable and deal with it straight away.
