Behind Estelle Road Bus Stop Shelter (Stop GB)

Reported via desktop in the Low/overhanging branches category anonymously at 10:50, Wed 29 May 2024

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6033596.

As per the photo, the evergreen shrubs from the property directly behind the Bus Shelter are well overgrown to the point of blocking the footpath making the area behind the shelter unwalkable - unless you are a kid or a small person. Shrubs should only be allowed to encroach the footpath by a certain distance away from the property wall - in this case the overgrowth is well more than a meter. Pedestrians shouldn't need to change their route to walk in front of the bus shelter as this is a risk itself due to the clashes with people waiting, accessing or egressing the buses. Ideally this shrub should be cut back to a certain distance from the property wall, perhaps 200-300mm?
