We have a parking restriction in the parking bays in front our apartment building. They have been scheduled from 27th May to 3rd June but no work seems to be taking place this week. It means we are unable to park next to our house for no valid reason and whoever parks there has gotten a pcn. This is especially difficult since my 10 year old daughter is recovering from a broken leg and we need the close parking space for easier access. The whole road has parking limitations that are very disruptive and the entry from Priory road has been blocked for several weeks now. It is my understanding that in order to allow access to our section of the road it is possible to enter from Fairhazel Gardens making it a 2 way road temporarily however the signs allowing that have been removed and the whole situation is very confusing for drivers and also dangerous. Can you please rectify this and update the restrictions.

Thank you for raising this issue. These are essential major electricity works, carried out by JSM on behalf of UKPN. We have contacted the contractor to bag the NO ENTRY signs on Greencroft Gardens at the junction with Fairhazel Gardens so that it is clear that you can access this road via the NO ENTRY whilst the closure is in place.
State changed to: not the council's responsibility
