Junction of Bedford Avenue with Bloomsbury Street

Reported via mobile in the Non-Illuminated bollards category anonymously at 10:22, Thursday 23 May 2024

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 6010505.

We have been asked to resend this report under ‘bollards’ not ‘Road signs’.

‘Keep Left’ bollard on island separating contraflow cycle lane from roadway badly impacted by vehicle. There are projecting broken metal and acrylic shards that are a danger to passing pedestrians and cyclists - see photo. I suggest it needs to be replaced.

The traffic cone in the photograph marks the place where a contraflow sign and signpost was similarly impacted. It has been removed but not replaced.

Better that signs be replaced and continue to be damaged by large trucks unsuited to streets like this rather than cyclists injured.
