Speed hump on Avenue Road before the junction with Elseworthy Road + speed hump further down Avenue Road, before the junction with Acacia Road

Reported via desktop in the Road Defect category anonymously at 09:46, Tue 14 May 2024

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5970614.

The two mentioned speed humps are defective and have been for a while. The tarmac is old and worn out with the result that the vehicle first "sinks" on the tarmac before the upward incline of the speed humps (when driving south towards Regent's Park). The net result is that any car with relatively low clearance will hit the underside of the vehicle on the hump, unless it is completely stationary. Both speed humps need to be repaired/re-tarmacked as a matter of urgency as it is causing damage to my and countless other vehicles daily.
