Corner of the Mount and the Mount Square

Reported via desktop in the Street Lights category anonymously at 12:32, Wed 1 May 2024

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5920617.

At some point between 8:15 and 11 in the morning today (1 May 2024), a car appears to have struck the historic lamp post at the corner of the Mount Square. This is likely due to the high volume of traffic that uses the Mount in the mornings as a sort of high speed freeway on-ramp to Heath Street (as a pedestrian one frequently feels at risk of ending up like this street lamp). Please to repair or replace this lamp with one of a similar look and luminance - not something modern and ultra bright and out of character with the historic buildings.
