Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5915592.
Hello, this street light is so bright, it is shining directly into the houses on this side of the street impacting numbers 1, 3 and 5 Glenhurst Avenue most specifically. Causing trouble sleeping at night due to the intensity of the light. Can a shield please be put in the lantern?

A lantern can not be fitted to the front of the Lantern as it would be then taking away the lighting which is required to light the road which in turn will create a safety concern and a black spot.

Fitting a shield to the front of the lantern would be a bad idea for safety reasons. However I am requesting that a shield be fitted inside the lantern but at the back of the lantern so that the light doesn't shine into the houses behind the lamp (1, 3 and 5) keeping the street well lit and safe on the front. Would that be possible?
