78 Haverstock hill

Reported via desktop in the Manhole on the pavement category anonymously at 11:31, Mon 29 April 2024

Sent to Camden Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5911048.

There are two manholes outside 78 Haverstock hill that need re-sealing as water is leaking into the two coal holes in the shop below every time it rains. This is getting worse now that the intensity of the rain has caused the internal side of the manhole to fall off.

Updates

  • There is mould now forming due to the water ingress from the leaking manholes. This is a huge health and safety risk as this area is next to the kitchen. Needs immediate attention.

  • We have consulted our Highways Team, who confirm that the council do not maintain coal holes. The property owner is responsible in maintaining the coal hole which adjoins the public highway. If you would like to employ the Highways Team to carry out any works for you, you can call the main contact number and ask for Larry Hilsden.

State changed to: No further action
