Broadly in front of 36 New Oxford Street there are two sunken and Ill fitting manhole covers In the road.

The two loose/sunken manhole covers are a danger but the main issue is they cause a massive noise every time traffic drives over them. A loud clunking noise of the metal cover against its frame/setting. The noise reverberates loudly around the whole neighbourhood and is really noticeable at night and keeps me/ other residents awake. It’s at its worst in better weather because if you leave the windows open at night it is so loud! This has been like this for 12 months!
