Junction of Tottenham Street with Tottenham Court Rd

Reported via desktop in the Transport Planning Referrals category anonymously at 17:41, Thu 18 April 2024

FixMyStreet ref: 5871731.

Is the last block of Tottenham Street before Tottenham Court Rd, which is one-way for motor traffic, meant to be two-way for cyclists? They treat it as two-way, which is awkward for pedestrians. At the junction of Tottenham Street and TCR is a collection of road traffic signs including an "except cyclists" sign but it is not clear what sign should be pointing in which direction and to what the exception refers. If Tottenham Street is not two-way for cyclists it needs clearer signage and also enforcement.
